How is this different from Mendo for Copilot Chat?

Different surfaces, different products. Copilot Chat is the browser-based chat included with every M365 license, covered by Mendo Web (Chrome extension). Mendo Copilot 365 covers Copilot inside Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Many enterprises start with Copilot Chat for reach, then add M365 Copilot to go deeper.

How is this different from Mendo Excel?

Mendo Copilot 365 covers every M365 app. Mendo Excel is a lighter, Excel-only add-in, useful when Excel is the focus of your rollout or for a smaller scope. Both can coexist.

How is the desktop app deployed?

It's a standard Windows .exe installer: admin rights required, installed for all users on the machine, deployed at scale through Intune, SCCM or any equivalent tool. The widget then appears in every supported app, with no extra setup.

What does Mendo see inside M365?

Mendo doesn't transmit document content, Copilot conversations or Copilot responses. During an active lab, the validation engine checks interaction data (actions taken, prompts sent) in real time, without storing it. Only learning progress syncs with Mendo's servers (HTTPS, port 443).

How do we measure productivity gains from Microsoft 365 Copilot?
