How is this different from Mendo for Microsoft 365 Copilot?

Copilot Chat is the browser-based GenAI chat included with every Microsoft 365 license. Mendo Copilot 365 covers Copilot inside the productivity apps: Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Different surfaces, different adoption motions. Many enterprises start with Copilot Chat to reach every Microsoft 365 user, then add Mendo Copilot 365 to deepen usage inside the apps.

Do users need a paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license?

No. Mendo for Copilot Chat works on the Copilot Chat included with any Microsoft 365 license. You build adoption across your full user base before deciding which teams would benefit from the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot apps.

How is the extension deployed?

Mendo Web is a standard Chrome extension. It can be deployed at scale through Chrome Enterprise policies, Intune, JAMF or any equivalent tool, with Mendo domains allowlisted. Once installed, the Mendo layer activates automatically inside Copilot Chat.

What does Mendo see inside Copilot Chat?

Mendo does not transmit conversation content, attached files or Copilot responses. During an active lab, Mendo's validation engine receives interaction data, such as prompts sent and basic response detection, to verify the exercise in real time. This data is not stored. Only learning progress is synced with Mendo.

How do we measure productivity gains?

Mendo AI Impact Center attributes gains per user and per team: hours saved, business use cases applied and value generated. Example: 10 hours saved per user per month, at a €4,000 average loaded monthly salary, represents about €250 per user per month.

How does this fit with the rest of the Mendo stack?
