What is Microsoft Copilot (ex Bing Chat Enterprise)?

A real competitor to ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot addresses the legitimate concerns of organizations regarding the storage of internal data and its use to train the underlying AI language models.

Very similar to ChatGPT Plus, Copilot allows you to create images, generate text, perform all sorts of tasks and search on the internet. However, it still has some differences.

The pluses:

  • Copilot allows you to change between 3 tones: creative, precise and balanced to adapt the model's responses
  • The model has a tendency to hallucinate less and deviate from instructions.

The least:

  • Copilot does not read documents other than images and therefore cannot do data analysis or read PDFs

  • Copilot does not have a history if you do not have access to the Copilot 365 version

This interactive chat is in fact responding to Microsoft's promise: to allow businesses to adopt generative AI with the security guarantees that a large group such as Microsoft is used to giving. Be careful, it should not be confused with Copilot 365, a more expensive version of Copilot, which integrates generative AI throughout the office suite.
